Environmental degradation " In nature there are neither rewards nor punishment,  there are only consequences "           Environmental degradation is a process in which due to human interference environment and its elements get damaged in every way. This cannot be measured directly but the degree to which it can affect ecosystem. Our weak anticipation of human progress and its effects on environment which can lead us to environmental degradation. Deforestation, E-waste, lowering level of ground water, uncontrolled and intolerable industrialisation, poor farming, use of fertilisers, unbearable mining and use of rivers as a gutter are making our earth no more than hell. As we know environmental degradation is not curable disease which can be only prevented. We are already late to move our efforts in right direction. Still there are chances to save earth (being optimistic). For India environmental degradation costs 5.7% of GDP. Our mammoth population...

Communal Violence in India           "The lawlessness of communal violence is a monster with several faces. It hurts all in the end, including those who are primarily responsible for it" - M.K.Gandhi (15-09-1940)            When two or more religious sects get into violence over the issues of mistrust in and hatred about religious beliefs, language differences, regional differences or all in one cultural differences, among them, then we call it communal violence. From medieval India to this date, India has suffered from communal violence due to political unrest or political policies. Back then due to foreign invasions and now political policies of representative parties of India. Women Empowerment in India

Women empowerment in India "If you want something said ask man;  if you want something done ask women." -Margaret Thatcher           5 Oct, 1789 women marched to Versailles to demand their rights. This was the movement by women for women to empower themselves and gain equal status as men had at that time. Same way , when we look back at India's history then we come to know that before Gupta period (319AD-540AD) women were treated respectfully but after that her status deprived and she was supposed to be helper for her man. This changed in 20th century while India was unitedly fighting for freedom. This freedom fight produced many feminist who supported women and gave first thrust to women empowerment in India making Anne besant, foreign socialist, first women president of india(1917).
