This cannot be measured directly but the degree to which it can affect ecosystem. Our weak anticipation of human progress and its effects on environment which can lead us to environmental degradation. Deforestation, E-waste, lowering level of ground water, uncontrolled and intolerable industrialisation, poor farming, use of fertilisers, unbearable mining and use of rivers as a gutter are making our earth no more than hell. As we know environmental degradation is not curable disease which can be only prevented. We are already late to move our efforts in right direction. Still there are chances to save earth (being optimistic). For India environmental degradation costs 5.7% of GDP. Our mammoth population is putting pressur

Child labour in India "There is no trust more sacred  than the one  the world holds with children. There is no duty more important than ensuring  that their rights are respected,  there welfare is protected their  lives are free from fear and  they can grow up in peace. " - Kofi annan           Why child labour exists in first place....? How one can force 'a sunshine ' to work for 12 hours of day, 7 days of week for few pieces of bread...? To study, to play, to rest......these are their birth rights and we as a nation not able to protect it. Using child as a labour is stain on humanity. India is no good to children. Being on this very earth answer should be NO. In our country after independence government had focused on educational inclusion which was represented by literacy rate. And having  literacy rate more than 60%, at least , it saved us from embarrassment. But what about the qualities and skills that has to be provided by education system ? Anticipating ourselves as developed country we need drastic and innovative changes in education system which will focus on upgrading students in his or her realm of study.            Today we have standardised school board and syllabus but we don't have standardised teaching. Teacher is the prime line which connects quality knowledge and students. In India this line is not properly managed and education system has become weaker by time. Another issu

Communal Violence in India           "The lawlessness of communal violence is a monster with several faces. This was the movement by women for women to empower themselves and gain equal status as men had at that time. Same way , when we look back at India's history then we come to know that before Gupta period (319AD-540AD) women were treated respectfully but after that her status deprived and she was supposed to be helper for her man. This changed in 20th century while India was unitedly fighting for freedom. So being a young nation,India is aiming to become a developed nation. This time it is not disillusion but a dream that is being envisaged by young dreamers. Every nation wants to stand on shoulder of young generation because it neither fails nor hesitate to offer. India's young generation really wants a sovereign, social, secular Republic democracy. From Neharu to Modi every PM of India urges for the contribution of youth.        According to the 2011 census, Population of India in the range 15-64 contributes to 63.6% of total population.
